Only 1% of business leaders started to work after 25 years of age, whereas 48% were earning enough to live independently by the time they were 19, and 12% by the time they were 16, according to professionals at the Kontakt recruitment agency, having questioned 300 high- (74%) and middle-level (26%) business leaders working in major Russian companies in March (see diagram).
